Stevie Billow (they/them) is a writer, educator, and creative organizer originally from rural Vermont. Stevie is the founder and an active member of Rotary Arts, a multimedia arts collective showcasing the collaborative work of emerging LGBTQ+ creatives. Their independent work explores gender, intergenerational trauma and healing, the abolition of whiteness, and queer communion with nature. Stevie has received support from GrubStreet as a 2023-2024 Emerging Writer Fellow and from the Straw Dog Writers Guild as a 2024 Edith Wharton Writer in Residence. They are a two-time Tin House workshop alum and an Editorial Fellow in Nonfiction at Shenandoah.
